Project Diva 2nd!!

...And yes, that is Ren.

Alrighty, so the game's been out for a while, but I just started it today.

It more or less plays almost the same way as the first game. There are two new notes: Double notes, the arrow notes; and Holds, notes that are slightly different from normal.

The module system (character select) has been overhauled too, now separated by individual characters rather than the long list in the previous game. For those who played the first game, you'll be glad to know that you can import your save data from that game to unlock all the costumes from the first game. Unlocking costumes in the 2nd game isn't as hard, but it's a bit more tedious, as you have to purchase them from the ingame store, using points earned by completing songs.

I'm having trouble choosing between Meiko and Luka at the moment. They're both wonderful. :'D

Just to make it clear, you could 'change' your character in the first game, but the completion screen would still be in Miku's voice. Now each character has their own voice for that screen. Plus all the characters have an improved wardrobe compared to their first game one.

Just unlocked the song, Kaito, and Kaito's sexy outfit there. Between him, Luka and Meiko, I think he has the best outfit unlocked so far. Yes, the model animation could be a lot better. When Kaito is 'holding' Miku's hand, it looks kind of like a 4th grade square dancing class where the boys don't want to hold the girls' hands and vice versa. If it was any better, however, it might make it very difficult for players. Where do you look?!

There are a lot of recycled songs, with recycled PV's to boot. Most songs have a PV now, so I guess it's okay. ^^; If you're making a Vocaloid game, you can't skimp on older songs by Kz and Ryo.

The PV is pretty. :3

And so, if you don't have a PSP, now's a good time to get one. Or when stocks for the game come back.
