Funny that the title "Element Hunter" is the same as a manga idea i came up years ago when I was so crazy about Digimon and Pokemon...

Taking ideas from the two series modifying it and adding in elements. I began drawing...the first time I actually commited a lot of my time till I actually finish the intro chapter. Although noobish drawing results (not sufficiently skilled then) as well as too much similar concepts with digimon (going to the other world thingy) and pokemon (capture the element yeah...) put me off.

I abandoned the idea after 3 years of trying to make it original (mine you it was a sporadic leisure activity).I then moved to new ideas.

After 5 years, a moment of nostalgia led me to google "Element Hunter" (as well as other title I've came out that didn't make it -yeah, fail-)

Finding out an anime with the same title and concept (the chemistry thingy that is) is coming out...I lol-ed non-stop.
Irony? Coincidence?

I don't know... But I'll be anticipating this anime for sure...
